Bent Electrical Contractors provided the complete power infrastructure and fire alarm systems for the Dick’s House of Sport location developed by BXP in Boston. This large-format retail environment required a robust electrical distribution system to support high-efficiency lighting, digital displays, point-of-sale systems, specialty athletic equipment, and experiential retail features. BEC installed and commissioned the core power backbone, including main distribution equipment, panelboards, feeders, and branch circuitry to ensure reliable and scalable performance throughout the facility. BEC also delivered a fully integrated fire alarm system designed to meet current Massachusetts life safety codes and local authority requirements. Scope included device installation, system programming, testing, and coordination through final inspection and occupancy. The project demonstrates BEC’s ability to execute complex retail infrastructure within a high-profile urban development while maintaining schedule discipline, code compliance, and quality control.
