Bent Electrical Contractors completed the electrical scope for the exterior envelope renovation at Gund Hall for Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
As part of the façade modernization, BEC installed new shade control systems to support upgraded exterior shading integrated into the building envelope. The scope included new power distribution, control wiring, panel installations, and close coordination with façade and envelope trades to ensure concealed routing and seamless integration.
The upgraded shade control system enhances daylight management, reduces glare, improves occupant comfort, and supports overall building energy performance while preserving the architectural integrity of this landmark academic facility.
