Bent Electrical Contractors completed an electrical renovation supporting the upgrade of the West Campus Dining Hall, with a specific focus on food allergy safety and operational separation.
Scope of work included new power distribution for specialty kitchen equipment, dedicated branch circuits for allergy-sensitive preparation areas, lighting upgrades in food prep and serving zones, and electrical modifications to support segregated refrigeration and warming equipment.
All work was executed within an active campus environment and phased to maintain dining operations. The completed project enhanced code compliance, system reliability, and Boston University’s ability to provide a safer dining experience for students with food allergies.
