Bent Electrical Contractors completed the full electrical renovation of the Soldier Field Park housing complex over a five-year phased program from June 2016 through June 2021.
The project included four residential buildings totaling 459 apartment units and a complete renovation of the on-site daycare facility, with a total electrical contract value of $29.2 million.
Working in a fully occupied residential environment, BEC executed detailed phasing plans to minimize disruption while maintaining schedule and quality control. Scope included full electrical system replacement, new panelboards and distribution, apartment lighting and device upgrades, common area electrical improvements, and fire alarm system upgrades.
This multi-building renovation reflects BEC’s ability to manage large-scale, occupied residential projects with disciplined coordination, manpower planning, and long-term program execution.
