Bent Electrical Contractors completed a full fire alarm system upgrade and multiple laboratory renovations at Harvard University’s Biological Laboratories.
The project included modernization of the building-wide fire alarm infrastructure to meet current code requirements and improve overall life safety performance. Work was phased to maintain continuous operations within active research spaces.
In support of ongoing laboratory upgrades, BEC provided new power distribution, lighting improvements, equipment connections, and coordination with mechanical and specialty systems.
All work was performed in an occupied academic and research environment, requiring detailed planning, strict safety controls, and close coordination with university facilities staff.
